Fresh air on the shoulders of tradition
The winery has belonged, since its founding in the mid-19th century, to the family of D. Enrique María Trénor, III Count of La Vallesa de Mandor, II Count of Montornés, VIII Count of Noroña, and Grandee of Spain.
Our nearly 1,000 hectares expand through different spots on the slopes of the well-known Monte Arabí, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the municipality of Yecla, to whose DO we belong.
All these long years of traditional cultivation allow us to have detailed knowledge of our estate, made up of different spots with unique soils, microclimates, and biodiversity, where vines of different varieties and ages coexist: Monastrell, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Syrah… highlighting our old Monastrell vines.
In 2021, driven by the excellence of our grapes, plus the sum of extensive experience in the field and the dedication and effort of a new and renowned technical team, we decided to focus on producing high-expression wines that convey the exceptional nature of our terroir.
Varied wines, but all of them with a strong personality, thanks to and because of the different spots, microclimates, and varieties cultivated within an estate with a lot of history and nobility in its vines.
